Cry Detection AI 1.0 clears first clinical acceptance gate at Radboudumc – Nijmegen
In August 2022, Neolook's Cry Detection 1.0 prototype passed a formal acceptance-test protocol at Radboudumc – Beatrix Kinderziekenhuis, one of the Netherlands' eight university medical centres. The prototype was evaluated against pre-specified detection-accuracy criteria under live NICU conditions and met all requirements, clearing the gate to production testing. The test followed a deal won through a three-week demonstrator sprint in December 2021 and preceded the successful production test eight weeks later (October 2022). Together, 2022 delivered a complete acceptance-to-production validation cycle for Cry Detection 1.0 within a single calendar year – the first formal clinical gate cleared by a Neolook AI module in an academic neonatal centre.
